Christmas eve was spent at our house with Luke's family. I always love Christmas eve. We went to a service at the church down the street that night and when we walked out it started snowing. I had been praying for a white Christmas since we have had such a dreadfully dry winter so far. Everyone was telling me that snow wasn't likely, but like soft white magic, a flurry began as we sang the old familiar Christmas carols during church. I made chicken, slow cooked vegetables, homemade rolls and of course lots of yummies for after dinner.
