HORSES

 

 

A week ago Luke and I went on a drive. We do this a lot when we don't have plans on our days off. We jump in the car and let our tires take us away. We usually like to go west towards the mountains. We start by driving past familiar places, and then at random, we'll follow some winding road into the hills where there are big trees and vibrant colors. the adventure is not knowing where we will end up. Sometimes our path takes us to a house or some private property with a dead end, so we'll just turn around and start down a new path. On the most recent Adventure our road took us to a ranch with horses. We were very excited to get up close with the animals since city kid blood flows through our veins. We were surprised by the way they come up to greet us with friendly eyes. As they hung their heads over the fence it seemed as if they were intentionally posing to have their pictures taken.
