FILLING THE HOUSE WITH CHRISTMAS

This year we will stay in Greeley for Christmas and it's something I am looking forward to. We basically have been packing our bags every month since April on traveling adventures, so it will be nice to have a break and stay in for the Christmas season. This also gets me really excited for decorating this little house we have. I remember when I was young we would get out those dusty boxes labeled "Christmas Decor" from the attic the day after Thanksgiving. I loved seeing all the garland up around the house and lights hanging in the windows. We would pull out each ornament from it's special wrapping and start filling the tree with memories. We would laugh as we "ooo'd and ahh'd" as if we have never seen any of them before. We were constantly drinking eggnog, and my brother always insisted that we take a few extra moments to place the old train under the tree every year.

This is mine and Luke's forth Christmas together married and traditions do change but it's fun to see how we can mold them together to make our own. We play our christmas vinyls and dance around while decorating the house. Once the house is finished we stand back and smile.

We are thankful to have each other.
